 we had our first real transportation nightmare when e turned up at lima airport only to be told that aerocondor weren't running flights. they said it was because of bad weather, turned out the tail fell off one of their planes..we were a little altitude sick at first, and then for me that turned to real sickness which was horrible and feverish.

you should chew those leaves for the altitude. coca leaves. actually drink the tea, the leaves are butters. everyone got really excited when they told us that they make coke out of the leaves. it's not the same though, i assure you.

my memory is getting really bad too. mai-anh has to tell me everything. i start a sentance and then she has to add all the details; all of the names, and a lot of the words.
