I am amazed so many people are confused about Obama. He is not the hope of the nation. If he elected he can not save us all. It almost feels painful to see people hail him as "Our only hope" bandying phrases like "Got Hope? No? Vote Obama" Well I have intelligence so I'll pick who will best be aligned with my beliefs and what I feel is best for the country. Thats why is "my vote". Some of the Obama fanatics seriously remind me of religious zealots.

If I'm being honest...Hilary. I agree with you a billion times over than he is just an impressive speaker. Theres a few stances Biden has taken which I like and more that I don't. I don't like a variety of his seemingly pro-war decisions. Not that I don't realize war isn't a necessity sometimes. I also would've thought an Edwards pick to be a bold choice considering the current scandal because Edwards does actually have some great ideas. I guess it could've been worse...Richards *shudders* I'm hoping McCain sees this for an opportunity and gets all bold and different or well...his old self again.

lots of people seem unhappy with the choice. For me its definitely getting towards that "straw/camel" time. His recent flip flop on the oil drilling (which yes McCain did too) really bugged me. Dems are SUPPOSED to be the environmental party..so uh wtf did it change to "environmental party but only until the polls say people support drilling even if it causes damage to the environment long term"?
