I was just thinking...the reason that in shows/movies/books the people who are meant to be always end up together is because it doesnt happen irl and writers want to give us something we all cant have

relationships

disagree. I'd like to think I was wrong about this one.

*lol* okay sweet! cos i definitely met the person i'm supposed to be with for the rest of my life. HOWEVER. it wasn't easy. we were separated for 3 months after 10 months of marriage and we have to work through things from time to time. but there's never a shadow of doubt in our minds that we are supposed to be together and both of us are mutually committed to staying with each other.

i sincerely and vehemently hope you find what i have - or better - someday. :)

Thats really awesome. My favorite real life love story is a set of friends who broke up twice and didnt speak to each other for a year but they loved each other and it was obvious. So they ended up together and now they have a beautiful baby boy. I've often thought about writing a story about it.

That's so funny you say that b/c I was just thinking about the same thing earlier this morning. Weird.

But, yeah...they only write stories that end "happily ever after". They never actually write about how "happily ever after" is supposed to occur. Where's the follow-through?

I think they think something like youre supposed to get caught on an elevator or are supposed to almost get married to another and then you get happily ever after. so there ya go.
