First thoughts on 602 "Two and a half men"

Hello,

Okay so I'm warning you guys, I'm not too gentle in my review this week. I'm feeling really disappointed by that episode and sadly I don't think a second time watching it will change that.

So here it is, let me know if you're feeling the same or differently, please I'm curious.

Until next time,
alwaysateen :)

Okay, so I thought I couldn’t be more disappointed about my favorite show, I was wrong. I don’t know if after watching it again I will like it better, like the premiere but I doubt it.

So the story was Dean freaking out, making Lisa and Ben move to a new house, first deception, I liked the old house, felt safe and homey. Then he didn’t want them to go out, poor Ben just wanted to go on his bike and Dean came out with an excuse to make him stay. And when Ben found the “tools” in the trunk of the Impala then all hell broke loose.

On his side, Sam was investigating family with 6 months old babies who got slaughter and the babies kidnapped. He didn’t seem too concerned about the babies’ welfare; good thing Samuel put him back to his place mentioning baby stew, yerk. When he thought he could save a family and found the parents already dead he didn’t know what he was getting himself into. So he called Dean to the rescue.

At first, Dean wasn’t much help but his father instincts kick in and he became a pro, except the part where he gave the little munchkin some whiskey, bad Dean! The part where the baby transform was very well done, scary but so cool at the same time.

When the “beast” found them the boys, well Sam decide to take him to Samuel. We could see that Dean didn’t trust this new family as much as we did. They all have this dark side that gives me the creeps. Anyway, the Alpha shifter arrived and an impressive battle took place. The speed in which the shifter shifts body was amazing and so well done. In the promo pics, we thought it was Dean protecting the baby, pinning someone to a wall but instead it was the shifter masking as Dean pinning Dean to the wall!

Anyway, they lost the baby and in the process of this hunt, Dean lost his new family. When Lisa proposed to Dean that he should go back to hunting I was so disappointed. Man this life was so good to him! He deserves it so much and it was working well just last week, why suddenly everything changes? He got freak because some monsters are hunting him and probably his new family? That’s not like him to be freak like this.

The only good side was that the Impala was finally free to run wild and hunt again!

I don’t know why I’m so disappointed, maybe because of Lisa and Ben that we’re not gonna see as often as I first thought or Dean giving up his dream life and going back to the frying pan. I’m wondering if he’s going to hunt on his own or team up with Sam right away…
