Why are people freaking out over a scream? So what if it's a scream? Who cares. If someone was hurt then they'd ask for help. And besides, people should be freaking over the lack of food here, or something.

[There is a pause and a sigh.]

Oh great, my hand is bleeding. [She groans and cuts off her transmission.]

They might have asked for help, just not loudly enough to be heard.

Why would they do that? If they yelled loud enough for all of us to hear then they'd certainly yell out for help too.

Maybe the communicator didn't pick up their cries for help. It could have turned on moments after they screamed for help for all we know. It's probably quite difficult to ask for help as you're dying a painful death.

Why would the communicator cut off? That's stupid... This place is stupid... [She pauses and sighs.]

I don't really know Pence. It's kind of stupid to worry over a scream.
