You do have to remember that there are women who fight for their equal rights.

The equal rights theory is a valid one. And no disputing that. What I am talking about is INITIATIVE. The initiative in planning and thinking ahead. So far, I only know two men who do that and thank God for them!

I think these days women know what they want, that's why they excel in a man's world. But it is the men who don't know what they want. I wonder if this is an upbringing issue. What do you think?

Wait till you get older dearie and you get to the sixth gear in your career. Then you want things in neutral gear in other areas of your life. Sigh....

they're all signs and indications that we're getting old (oops!!) i mean, we are maturing :) The older we get, such 'gem' men are harder to get. somebody would have grabbed them already. all we can wish for is that, our 'young' not-yet mature men grow up to be such gem as we grow up to be a great woman too :) miss ya deep!(sj)

Perhaps men in the new age society are striving to be the sensitive new age guy - who try to please and pamper the gals because that is what the gals have been asking for.

Perhaps, like you, men are in their 6th gear in their career and want things in neutral gear in other areas of life.

The Singapore Society has changed. The environment now is different from what it was a few decades ago (not that I know exactly how it was a few decades ago).
