The dress looks like a good bet. It has the V-neck so you don't look as though you have a pillow on your chest, and the nice line where things are snug just under the bustline-which is where most of us are slenderest-so it should look fine.
Oh, you can do that! 42 days is what, six weeks? Just break it up! Even if you did 6 miles for the first two weeks, then 8 miles for the next three, then six for the final week, you're there!
Thank you, I'm doing okay so far. I just keep telling myself it's a mile a day. On the days I feel like I can run two or more miles, I try to get ahead.
that dress looks lovely, but seriously, that woman is plus-sized like i'm a supermodel! wtf, advertisers? anyway, good for (all of) you for accepting the running challenge - it sounds like fun for trhe whole family! i stopped running a while ago on doctors orders, except for how what he actually said i should take it easy for a week or two and get lots of rest, and somehow that seems to have turned into a month or two... DOH!
That's my biggest pet peeve about shopping for clothing. I cannot possibly tell how a dress looks if the woman wearing it is half my size.
And thank you, it's been fun so far. I hope you're feeling better, when I started running I got the worst shin splints. Very unexpected since i've never been remotely athletic and i had no idea what I was doing.
ha, yes, i'm feeling better now, THANK YOU! at this point i'm not running just due to laziness. if my doc knew i was still "taking it easy", he would not approve! anyway, like you said, i don't love running, but i do v much like how i feel after i've done it. i'm glad i'm not the only one who feels that way!
Have you tried on the dress? How does it look? The picture is very pretty, but that is my one pet peeve when it comes to online shopping: how are you supposed to know what fits?! Ughhh.
You and your family are awesome! How many miles have you run?
I did try on the dress! I couldn't decide between a size 22 or 20 because I'm in between so I went for the 20 and it's loose! I'm so excited. I will post pictures when the wedding comes and I'm all put together, but I'm really pleased with how it looks.
I have run 11 miles as of today. I'm on track to make it to 42 before the 26th of May. I just have to keep running, which is really still not something I enjoy.

Damn. Is that 42 consecutive miles or 42 broken up?

It's 42 miles over the course of 42 days. So 1 mile a day.
