No computer time for me this weekend but I can't wait anymore.
This is going to be completely jumbled. The whole movie I was so overwhelmed by all the FEELINGS.
I haven't seen Captain America or Thor and I'm not a comic fan so I was a little behind, not having any backstory except for two Iron Man movies. But now I want to get ahold of both so I can get caught up.
Steve is my FAVORITE except for how Mark Ruffalo's Bruce took me completely by surprise. I was not prepared to love him that much. The Steve and Tony stuff was fantastic. As was the Bruce and Tony stuff.
I was enthralled by the Clint and Natasha relationship. Everyone had insane chemistry in this movie and the few scenes between Clint an Natasha made me want an entire movie about their backstory.
I love TEAM dynamics. The Losers (featuring a hilarious and awesome Chris Evans) is one of my favorite movies because of this. Give me a story about a team and I'm putty in your hands. And this was everything I could ever have wanted in a team movie.
Some of my favorite moments:
- Bruce and Natasha squaring off at the beginning. I can't reiterate enough how much I loved Mark as Bruce. I liked Ed Norton's Bruce a fair amount, but I was so endeared by Mark and the way his chemistry worked with the others. I loved the first meeting between him and Steve.
- Speaking of Steve, just give me all the fic in the world, please. I loved seeing how he was trying to fit into and save a world he didn't understand. The bit with the 10 dollars was pretty adorable. And my heart loved the final battle with Tony (I think? Correct me if I'm remembering wrong) told Steve to call out instructions or whatever. Him just stepping up like that was awesome. And the simple "smash" to Hulk made me smile.
I know I'm missing so much that I wanted to say. I want to see it twelve more times.
Let's talk about it :)
