Yesterday proved to be yet another busy day at work. Went down to Encode to update the database, grab the airchecks, previous day's log/disk/PACC sheet and did the air run. Oh, also located missing tapes for the spot check to be encoded. This was all before Laura came in, lol. Unfortunately, I did slip up a bit. Les came and talked to me...said ( Read more... )

Yeah, maybe in a different scenario than a public transporation bus, I'd take it as a compliment, lol.

that does sound busy! calling people you don't know about situations you don't understand.. yea that would be bad! hope it all gets better

Yeah, work sure is busy but at least I enjoy it! Hopefully I won't have to call folks in NY about stuff I don't understand too much. Sometimes we contact them via e-mail which is better--then I can at least think of what I wanna say!

Sounds like it was busy and sorry to hear about having to make calls to NY about stuff you're not sure on...I'd hate to do that if I was unsure what I was talking about....
I once had a job that I felt like I was on call 24/7 with,although I was only working in a cafe at the time....I do hope that they don't need to use it and you can sort it by phone if needed...

Cool on the earlier bus too and sorry you met another weirdo...yikes...
some of the guys in the other departments at work are a bit too weird in that way for my liking...
Lucky that it was quick though and not too creepy....
Hope you picked out something nice for your next day...

Oh, it's cool...I guess I gotta have some phone skills even though I sincerely despise using the phone for business. I get so flustered! So far, so good with not getting called on my pager, lol.

The guy on the bus made me feel slightly good about being "beautiful" so it wasn't such a bad encounter...but I would prefer not to be bothered on the bus. Oh, well.

I have some phone skills too although I don't like talking on the phone really...I can understand about you getting flustered,I would as it would be daunting for me too...
Hope that the pager stays silent for you...

I'd prefer not to be bothered like that either but I suppose it can be flattering....so it is not that bad,so yeah...I understand...
