So I finally was curious enough to see what the height cutoff is for a legal midget. And so it appears, the height is 4'10" and below, which I think I am. Awh, sad day. Me so short ( Read more... )

my aunt is 4'10" & I have a friend who is that height too.

Eck screw that, girl. Those standards are for non-asians. If they were defining dwarfism by that, half of the asian population would be midgets. Plus, I think you have to have out of proportion limbs and head or soemthing to indicate a growth abnormality.

Ok clearly I didn't read the link :-P where they mentioned the out of proportion-ness part. But I still think the standard varies with race...especially with Asians.

^^ I toally looked that up this summer too. I'm 4'11". I was a bit sad, because midgethood is something many people can't claim. Oh wells.
