1. People are really nosy.
2. People like to be let down.
I swear that I have had the following conversation with people 1,00 times:

Random Person: Hey, I know I haven’t IMed you in 16 months, but I’m gonna just ignore that fact and pretend like we’re best friends, WHAT’S UP?!
Me: Uh…nothing…you?

Sometimes people ask me to chill and I lie to them and tell them I can't. Like I am having dinner with my grandparents. Sometimes I really can't do something with someone and I lie to still. Oh my mom thinks you are a bad influence on me and you are going to impregnet me. Actually that one is true and applies to everyone who isn't white.
