judging from your method of collecting data i would say that your sample is biased which in turn renders your conclusion inaccurate.

Yes, yes, you are correct, however, go ahead and find as many as you can. Tell me the percentage that were girls. Look on your friends list and really, I want to know how many friends-only LJ's are girls.

basically, i want to know who reads my journal. plus, most of the people on my friends list are people i know in person or have met once or twice. so.. makes for a real LJ community. =)

some people's entries serve as a sort of record of their daily activities because after all it is a live JOURNAL. but when people make their LJ friends only i don't see what it accomplishes, after all if they're just going to add everyone who comments, what's the point. Which is why I don't see why people don't just turn to the option that says "private entry" or better like you said just tell who they want to tell what happened. I dunno I liked my entries in the beginning when i pretended to be: a sock, a cowboy, a gangsta, a valley girl, i dunno what else, and i admit that my current life-related entries ARE boring. But if I want to write about my day and i don't feel like using that "private entry" button and you say it's boring, well then fuck off because no one said you had to read it
