forewarn actually refers to a small group of certain individuals, which, because of the results of various psycho-theraputic tests, have been said to house precognitive abilities, allowing them to focus in on the fourth dimension, where time has no meaning, and see what the future may hold, thus informing us of anything that we might need to be warned about.

basically, the word "forewarned" came out after the movie Minority Report.
