Over a week already. How time seems to fly.
Yet, i'm still undecided about whether so many familiar faces are a good sign or not.

I must be rambling though.
I have heard 'chips' being mentioned in passing but, I was wondering whether someone could explain them in a little more detail.

I take it that with so many people here, there is truly no escape

From what I've gathered, everyone who comes here gets a chip planted somewhere in their body to suppress their unique abilities. Don't ask why, though, I don't think anyone knows.

They suppress abilities? That explains a lot. There's always a chance that people have speculated as to 'why', is there not?

Well, apparently whoever decided we needed to be here is the one that gave 'em to use, but I don't think we ever got a solid reason as to why.

They basically suppress abilities that are beyond the human range.

I would suppose it's the main thing. They probably can also be used to track us.
