[The PCD's video turns on as it flies out of the young man's pocket, turning on as it crashed in the ground.]

NOOOO----

[Halfway through his attempt at bursting into a drawing room when pulled to Adstring winds up making him fly straight... into the lake? Yeah, he has the worst luck. Seeing as just as he surfaced coughing up water, your local squid ( Read more... )

Be careful. The squid likes the lake to itself.

No, doubt I need more of it. The people here seem under the impression I'll keel over any moment from the sounds.

...There's a giant squid in Adstringendum? ...Somehow, I'm not surprised.

[He switches his attention back to this newcomer.] Are you alright?

Would seem like it, wouldn't it?

[He's grumpy, forgive him. And taking a breath.] Course I am. As if you lot expect me to have been eaten by that thing.

It seems unlikely that a giant squid that is usually a saltwater fish could survive in a lake, but Adstringendum enjoys shattering my expectations.

[Kurapica forgives him, sorta. But he's not sure he's trustworthy, yet. He sighs.] Not everyone who arrives here is strong enough to fight off a squid on their own.

We had one at school, you know. Doesn't seem too impossible if you ask me.

[Oh good. Is this the not-trusting circle?] Didn't fight it off, did I? Just pushed it away. Reckon it'd come at me if I was still in there.

[The girl on the feed has completely white eyes, and it looks like she's blind ... but she also looks like she just saw this. Or maybe heard through the PCD.]

A-Are you okay?

[He's caught off guard by the stare. Erm. Well, he's certainly see stranger. Ron will shrug rather offhandedly.]

Yeah, suppose so. That question seems to get asked often around here.

W-Well, you just arrived and ...

[She scans the other answers and looks ... relieved.]

You're a friend of Harry-kun's.

Loads of blokes must arrive from the sounds of it. Can't be too surprising, can it?

[Frowning. All these people knowing Harry is starting to bug him. Since just how long had he been here?]

Harry looks to have a lot of those here.

[OH HELL, NOT THE SQUID-

Oh. Oh, he's okay. This is good.]

Indeed this is not Hogwarts, Ron.

[IT JUST WANTS TO LEARN TO DANCE YOU GUYS, SERIOUSLY.

Okay being the operative word of course.

Peering at that screen.]

Blimey, is that you Remus?

[He's still not used to this muggle contraption.]

I seem to recall waking up as Remus today, so I think yes.

...Are you all right?

[Besides being caked in blood and worse for wear? Ron's just peachy why does everyone keep asking that? He's plainly getting annoyed.]

I'd say so, yeah, but the way you lot are going it sounds as if I'm about to croak any moment.

Mr. Weasley... [Because the trio being completed was just what he needed to brighten his days here.] Arriving late and with your usual lack of grace, I see.

[He knew by now you were here, Snape, but he so didn't want to see your greasy ace. Even as his ears heat up he still manages to pull off a rude hand gesture his mum would frown upon.] Why don't you take your greasy nose and stick it in someone else's business?
