[The PCD turns on to a kitchen area-- why anyone let Ron near one, the world may never know. He's got a sort of smug expression on his features as he places a pan onto the stove. Turning the dial he turns his attention the PCD which, he's learned well enough to turn on on his own now.]

I'm not a home ec teacher, but burning is usually solved by watching the food and taking it off the heat once it's cooked instead of once it's charcoal.
