I have this natural tendency to continuously forgive those who slap me in the face. I'm naive to believe in the general goodness and decency of people. Maybe there are people out there who just don't deserve a second chance, a third, a fourth

Well the thing they did to you wasn't right but wouldn't you be a better person to forgive them? Maybe not open yourself up for punishment....yeah that's what I'm saying.
