I stopped reading after the 2nd paragraph since the entire premise of the article is based on faulty logic.

Comparing cognitive abilities (concentration) to learned skills (riding a bike) is apples and oranges.

I totally agree with Emilio on this one. There is faulty logic throughout this article and most importantly, down right wrong "facts". My biggest issue: if he really is a doctor of education, he would know that learning disabilities are not considered diseases. And those stats mean nothing without control group stats along with it. So....nice try. You might want to do your own research before getting caught up in the group of running lemmings next time.

Rrrg! You people!

Look, I'm well aware that there are faults with the logic and stats manipulation of such an article. That's because it's propoganda, not a scientific study. It's purpose is to scare the hell out of people so that they wake up and see what's really going on in their schools and government.

Disease - "A condition or tendency, as of society, regarded as abnormal and harmful. " Learning disabilities certainly sound like a disease to me.
