I understand why you're not really digging Maxx right now, but ya gotta understand -- it's not really Maxx's fault. I remember back in high school, there was a time when all you and Trey did was hang out together. At that time, Maxx was upset because he never saw his best friend outside of school. Really, what needs to happen is more balanced time juggling. You should probably sit the both of them down and explain what you feel is going on (but don't be accusatory, because that just makes you the bad guy and needy girlfriend). I mean, ya gota talk about shit. Communication is key to any relationship and all that jazz.
The problem's probably not going to fix itself, and this whole silently hating Maxx thing doesn't seem to be working all that well either. So it's going to stay the same, someone will get even more pissed off about the situation, or somebody can be the adult and try to fix the fucking situation.
