First thing you should do is let the school know if this starts to affect your schoolwork/attendance etc. You may be eligible for a special considerations program.
Then just try to talk to him as much as possible (if it's possible). Let him know that you'll be alright. And it won't be forever. It's just the post-traumatic stress syndrome. He went through something absolutely terrible and he's in a trance-like state that his brain induced to prevent him from trying to grasp the full reality of the situation which could cause him to self-destruct.
But yeah, you need to mostly let the school know what's going on and once your Dad sees the counsellor, things might start getting better from then on because he'll be talking to someone who knows how to deal with these situations..
