This list was harder to make than I thought, not because of the limitations of films to include, on contrary, it's the number of films that I did list down ( Read more... )

We have virtually exactly the same taste in films, you listed all my favourites!! Eternal sunshine and momento were so good, my favourites from the list.

I've never seen spirited away, but your recommendation means i want to see it.

Theres just two films you missed that i love: Billy Elliot and goodbye lenin. Apart from that, our lists would be identical.

Try to get a copy of Spirited Away, it wont disappoint you.

I've heard of Billy Elliot but not Goodbye Lenin, I'll check them both :)

Oh, I love Moulin Rouge... and The Pursuit of Happyness (I cried during that)!

I agree with you, the POA is my fav HP movie so far too.

You've got some great movies there :D

You should watch Atonement then, tears will fall.

Its really sad that for Harry Potter, more than anything else since PoA, I've only been, if I'm truly honest with myself, looking forward to seeing is the technical aspects of the film because I know beforehand that I'd be disappointed with the adaptation. With that mindset, I kinda enjoyed the movies more because I have no expectations whatsoever.

You've got some great movies there :D Thanks :)

Some on your list are my faves too (LOTR, Mouline, The Notebook, etc). Some I haven't seen yet but will try to catch up.

Miyasaki - I Loooove Japanes animes. I have a collection of his work.

H.P. *sigh* - adaptation, huge dissappointment.

Most of these aren't shown at home - especially the Brit movies - arent shown in Manila so I just download them online. I can't even find most titles at video stores.

Oh no hurry... I actually spent about an hour listing them and about two days trying to trim it down until I gave up and decided to not even put any order whatsoever, thus the long list.

Those are truly remarkable list! I'm impressed. Some of it I haven't even watched yet and some I just heard just now.

I will only take 2 films to comment: when you said you were depressed for two days after watching Atonement, you described the exact same feeling that I had. Prisoner of Azkaban - yeah, the technicality was amazing but let's not talk about the adaptation as well. *winks*
