Yeah, I know how you feel. For myself, I just can't help it. I've been building shields around myself for years now, it's habit. It's a house of cards, and eventually it'll come crashing down around me, but I can't help it.

I also hate offending people who I enjoy being with, and so far too often I'll just say what they want to hear, or just act interested.

Well, that's what I meant by when I don't give my opinion unless the person wants it most of the time. There are always little things that you won't be interested in with a person, and you just have to deal with them.

i also admire your ability to be so truthful... i myself put up a huge facade alot of the time. i'm not proud of it, but at the same time, i havent really changed anything either... i have always found that of most other people i know, you are one who doesnt put up much of a front, if one at all. kudos to you cuz thats a pretty impressive thing to do.

Great job Jones. Wish there were more people in the world who could think like that. I've been in the situation way too many times and I agree wholeheartedly. Go Giants....when they're not playing Miami.
