Ya know, I was actually MORE excited about halloween this year than I have been for the past several. Idk if they lose their magic... I would attribute it more to who you have to spend it with. i.e. I had a ton of people to goof off with and act like a complete goober around, where as maybe as it was your first one away from MN you weren't quite feeling the love, so to speak.
