You hit it right on the head. I cannot believe how people are always in a hurry even those homeless with nowhere to go cant even cross in the crosswalk and must walk in the middle of traffic in the middle of the road to cross!! And dont get me started on the right hand lane and how they use it to pass you illegally on the right as you are driving in the lane trying to merge left when nobody lets you in!!

I thought I'd point out that I am still alive and living in OC.
As for the post. This also has started to be reflected in our politics and business practices. Case in point: Our buddy Dubya wants to remove responsibility for insuring employees from businesses. Of course there was no mention of raising the mminimum wage to cover the extra costs of insuring oneself. (But why on earth should we expect Republicans to actually participate in social responsibility? They considers themselves to be above any other kind.)
