Brother Update

Well after many false starts over the past few weeks, my brother left for Iraq this morning at 9:30am CST. He will be spending 2-3 weeks in Kuwait and that's all we know at this point. He won't know if he has a platoon or not until he gets there. I guess we'll find out more sometime, not sure how much he'll be able to contact us. So the waiting

I will think good thoughts for your brother that he returns home safely and without any harm.

I have a number of relatives in the armed forces here in Canada and while we didn't suport the move on Iraq, we did on Afghanistan and my family and I were all sitting on edge wondering who, if anyone, was going to be sent over. One of my cousins was sent to Europe on stand-by.
