Snow Day and Brother Update

Well it snowed today in Albuquerque, not a good thing. While I love the snow, people in this town don't have a freaking clue how to drive in it. We just don't get snow in town that often and we also have a lot of transplants from states that never get snow. Needless to say driving can be let's say interesting. Driving down 528 was really not fun,

Why, oh why, is everyone getting snow but me? I live in Canada, I'm supposed to have snow. It's very depressing to drag the Christmas box into the dining room and open it against a backdrop of torrential rain outside the window. *sigh*

Of course, I should be careful what I wish for. Mother Nature might just listen and drop a couple feet of snow on us all at once! I know what you mean about the drivers, though. You'd think that living in Canada and having snow every year would make that bit easier. It doesn't. It seems that the first snowfall here causes immense confusion and people forget they know how to drive in it.
