I've officially grown tired of how much LJ advertises at me. I cant seem to use a single function without getting an ad popup or having ads take up half my screen

Weird. I have ad banners on LJ, but never advertisment popups. Are you sure it may not be a virus of sorts... I don't get this on LJ itself. Anyway, will miss you mommy, but yeah I have you on FA ^_^

I don't have ads on LJ anymore. Chrome Beta has extensions, and I picked up AdThwart, which gets rid of them all. :)

What are you using, firefox? Adblocker plus.

I didn't even know there WERE ads!
