After watching an episode of Desperate Housewives tonight I came to a conlusion: I hate voice-overs in television series. The voice-over in Dead Like Me was one of the main reasons why I stopped watching it. I thought that the voice-over in Desperate Housewives wasn't so bad. But after a few episodes it started to irritate me again. The know-it-all

I do agree with you on the DLM thing... I just HATED that voice :P
But with Desperate Housewives it doesn't bother me that much. Well now I probably will start paying attention to it and then it will get anoying and then....

You can always leave the sound off ;) And at least the voice they use isn't really annoying in itself.

I didn't mind it in Dead Like Me - liked it even. But that's because I liked Ellen Muth's voice; it was natural. (to me). The constant hearable smirk in the voice of the DH lady annoyed me too, yesterday (when I watched the latest ep). :\
