It was nice seeing this event from Fleur's POV. A lovely moment from canon, even if it was such a dreadful event. I also liked the scarring, as I, too, thought there very well must be some after the breaking glass and such.

Oh, this was lovely and sad. I cried for Hermione so much in that entire sequence, and Ron broke my heart when he was screaming for her. This is a nice 'missing moment' from afterward.

Yay! It seemed one that could be overlooked in favor of some of the others (Fred's funeral, R/Hr in the Chamber of Secrets, etc.)... but it was just so odd to me that it was Fleur taking care of Hermione, and how that would play out. Maybe I'll spin it around and write it from Ron's perspective, but there ae so many folks who do his voice so well, I don't know if I could compete! :)
