Almost all of these I read such a very long time ago. I went on a binge when I first got married and on my 6 month honeymoon in North Carolina I tried to read as many "classics" as I could. I maintained a taste for 19th century novels and read a lot of those in succeeding years. But it's been a long time. Some of my favorites from that time aren't even on the list. And again,it was so long ago that I don't know if my favorites then would be my favorites now.

on this list, besides the obvious LorRs and Harry Potter-- I love John Steinbeck. Also To Kill A Mockingbird is one of my favorites.

Alyon, I bow before your erudition!

You actually read Ulysses!! How does one do that?! (I guess my brain is not suitable for this kind of literature...)

And yes, which ones were your favourites?

Nah. I just happened to read a lot from this list. As I told Honey above, I can't even say that many of my favorites are on this list. Many years ago I made a point to read a lot of classics. My husband and I had a six month working honeymoon, where we moved to the beaches of North Carolina and worked in the resort industry doing laundry and such on weekends for expensive rental homes, and the rest of the week we would play and read. I made a point of reading all the classics that I could. Honestly it was so long ago I don't remember which is which until I open them up and start reading them again. But yeah, I tackled a couple of Joyce novels. But it's all a blur now ( ... )

Oh, and my favorites from this list off the top of my head are the two from Steinbeck, and To Kill a Mockingbird. I might add others but that would take too much thinking!
