Really bad. Some people plan on dropping out of high school and living with their mothers their whole life. I plan on getting a job ASAP and getting emancipated.
I don't wanna sound like a parent...but listen to my perspective:
Right now, school is your job. The better you do in school The more you learn in school, the more money you will make. So like "work" on that, and then in a year or two, get a job. And remember to save a little bit of money always, so you can retire. Don't count on Social Security--even if it's still around when you retire, you're only gonna get a pittance; not even enough to pay rent.
I know; but remember, nobody intends to pay more attention to their job than to work, but it happens. You'll end up needing the money, and school will just end up a lower priority. I've seen it happen more than once.
Besides, getting a job now isn't really gonna help you in the long run. Stay young, stay innocent, have fun while you don't have to work.
idunno I feel old when I talk like that. "When I was your age, I had to walk to school. Both ways, up hill, in the freezing rain and blistering sun, barefoot, and I had to carry both my brother and sister on my back every day!" yea whatever
blaah high school drop outs are lame. i'm proud of you. i wish you the bestest of best luck finding a job. [[not saying that you're incompetent and can't get a job, just saying that everybody needs some luck and i'm wishing you extras of it]]

I'm a great multitasker when I chose to be.
