October craziness...

Ok so I'm miserably bad at updating. Things have just been really busy here. We had 3 extra days off the first week of October for one of Korea's biggest holidays. After talking with you on the phone about the DMZ trip, I totally wasn't expecting to read a post about celebrating Halloween in Korea. What a strange US custom to adopt at the school. Is there anything comparable at all in Korea? As to you tripping - nothing like a little humour to lighten up the fright. ~Mom

There's nothing to like Halloween in Korea...at least not on a large scale. I think a lot of schools include it (and other American holidays) as part of their English curriculum. Kind of a cultural experience for the kids. Some of the stores here have a limited selection of Halloween stuff...wigs, masks, etc. It should be fun though.

Hmm... Alyssa triping on a halloween cape... sounds a bit too much like college stories. Alyssa falling down the stairs (sober), Alyssa drops her cell phone in the river... basically we can all conclude that Alyssa is clumsy.
