oh, I am *so excited* to read this story!!!
It's probably going to have to wait until my upcoming Very Long Plane Rides, but I wanted to let you know now about my enormous amounts of anticipatory squee. ;-)

Great work as always. I love the notion of Mulder and McCormick working together and can hardly wait to see the next story in this series.
BTW, I did spot one typo -- "In a quiet voice that somehow pierced the sounds of fire and combat, Adler started reciting wrods in an odd, atonal voice." I'm guessing you meant 'words'.
Now I'm just going to have to reread the whole series again...
Thanks for the hours of enjoyment.
PS. I love 'Adler' and hope you'll write him again!

Glad you enjoyed the story -- hope your packing is going smoothly. This story has been driving me nuts for months now. I blame Rhi for giving me a McCormick muse. Knowing Adler, he'll show back up one way or another.

There were a couple of typos I noticed, but the only one I can find right now is "McCormick hope Skinner was right". The others were similarly minor.
The only thing that gave me any real problems was that I sometimes had trouble tracking who was talking during the scenes with Mulder, McCormick, and Adler. When there were only two men in the scene it wasn't usually an issue, but there were a few times when throwing in the third speaker made it hard to know who was talking until after they'd finished.
I loved Adler -- very good, both on the concept and on the execution!
I also loved the story line! Things like this are why I still say that yours have always been some of the most interesting and fun Dungeons to play in!
Good work, and congratulations on finishing it!

I read it yesterday, and today I am catching up on the stories that I missed and rereading some of the old favorates.
