On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month the guns fell silent in the "war to end all wars." Sadly, the guns only paused.

I salute all veterans of all the wars and pray that one day we'll be free of the pestilence of war.

Thank you. I'm from a military family. And I detest war and the senseless losses that come with it. My dad was in WWII and Korea. He didn't like what he did, but he loved his country and was bound by loyalty and honor to defend it. He's gone now, but he and the countless others who fought with him deserve our love and respect.
