When I say bag it sounds like vague. Then again I say Bastin, not BOSton.

to answer yr question....ppl from wisconsin pronounce bag as rhyming w/ vague...it's very unnerving. they say car and it rhymes with hair..

I have heard people around Jamestown pronounce bagels as "baggles".
