Actually, I *did* read WfI's page, and Sues personal blog (beforre she took it private). They are bigoted nutters. The anti-immigrant screed that was the first I found was downtight revolting.

The problem is that they didn't actually delete the most egregious predator blogs, including one of a *convicted* rapist of his own daughter!!

WfI targeted the wrong blogs, 6A knelt without thought, and the real predators are mostly untouched.

If you or I find a blog that actually advocates any form of illegal activity, or brags about having done it (and is not a fiction blog), the right thing to do is to screencap the post, and send it to the authorities - i.e. the FBI.

I actually thought about checking into Perverted Justice- as the parent of a teen, pre-teen and 2 under 10's- I'm scared to death of the predators they might meet online.
I solved the major part of this- the kids living with my mom have internet access through the public library under her supervision- the ones living with me- I supervise constatly. The teen in our house- who ISN'T my child- is closely supervised by 3 adults- and believe me- we read everything, check sites- the whole 9 yards(she's 13 looks 19) Frank- my partner can't supervise his kids- but their mother does a decent job of it.
It boils down to- at least for me- parental involvement. If a parent DOESN'T stay alert and DOESN'T stay informed-it's easier for a pedophile to reach kids.My kids got an e-mail from a questionable source. But because I read all their mail-they never saw it- and it was dealt with.
The predators are everywhere- on some of even the most inocuous sites- and that should scare anyone.
