Hooray!  Our internet is working again.  It's more than a little disturbing how much I've come to rely on it.  I can't say how many times last night I thought, "I'll just look that up on the internet" and then realized that I couldn't.

What turned out to be the problem?

Modem or area outage?

Our router bit the dust, plus we're having some limited connectivity. Once they had me tell the computer not to tell me we were having connectivity issues, it worked fine. Now we need to get a new router.
