You're probably going to hate me for leaving the following comment, but I feel the need to leave it. First of all, I just have to ask, what was the paying agreement when you first started living together? If it was for you to foot the bills and they pay the rent, then I COMPLETELY understand where you're coming from. However, if it was that you each pay 1/3 of everything, then I feel I would have to agree with your roommate on this one (though him using your stuff and being unappreciative of the rides is quite rude and stupid of him.) Personally, if I were living with two people and one of them didn't pay their rent, I would be quite upset, even if I WAS putting $1000 a month away. Reason being, that would be money I could be saving up for something I really need, like a better car or a house of my own or for emergencies

It was understood when I agreed to live here that I may not get BAH. That being said, I would help out however I could. I pay the bills. Yeah, he puts away 1000 bucks a month, more then enough for any car payment if he actually had a car. That doesn't include the 400 or 500 that he has for straight up spending money on top of that. I have no pity, and they knew ahead of time that this might happen. Not to mention they told me they were cool with me paying the bills and them the rent if that's how it had to be. Regardless, if they were in my shoes and I in there's, I wouldn't be throwing the fit they are. Straight up it's harder for me then it is for them, therefore I've got no pity for them and their bitching.
