The following article was written by an extremely gifted and extremely intelligent friend of mine. The person wished to remain anonymous, and it was with reluctance that I agreed to that condition, but the person said that anonymity was the only way he or she would ever post on my livejournal. Having been a guest writer myself, I would have to say that this person kicked my ass. That was absolutely beautiful. It was such a simple subject yet had so much meaning behind it. One of the more profound entries I've read in a while. What you've said is true. Whether we like it or not, what we do, how we treat people, all of that matters to someone somewhere. You should "be nice" to everyone because that can be a self esteem boost for you. That was a really good entry. I think I know who wrote it but I can keep a secret.

Everything I was trying to say, summed up in a sentence:

"Difficulties and obstructions throw a man back upon himself. While the inferior man seeks to put the blame on other persons, bewailing his fate, the superior man seeks the error within himself, and through this introspection the external obstacle becomes for him an occasion for inner enrchment and educaton."

The author states that being kind on small occasions doesnt always change the world, but on that part i have to differ. His own kindess on this very ( ... )
