Standard operating procedure for me is to write a new post after I get six or more comments or if discussion has ended, pending time of course. Little bit of a revealing thing, I actually have a list of topics that I’ve always wanted to hit, but some are more relevant at one time or another, so that’s how I decide what to write on.

I must say, I suffer from over-reasoning situations, prom included, time and time again. I analyze every possible outcome and, being the optimist I am, tell myself that the good will happen. Of course, that's not always the case, but I would have spent less time stressing if I had just done what I wanted to do in the first place

ahhh thinking versus feeling niraj! im a thinker also no shame, i think ive lost my ability to feel after i dunno. I was younger i was more of a feel how the world is, and feel what is the better decision, but ive lost that ability for watever reason, maybe ive learned how the world is actually full of assholes or watever the reason, i think. I think so i won't hurt myself but sometimes thinking is the exact wrong thing to do. Sometimes thinking is for a specific time, and feeling is another. As an EMT, classtime and practicals are the time to think, and analyze. In the field i feel everything, i feel the patients hand in mine, I feel their chest rise their lung sounds, and at that point i dont sit there rationalizing what dosage to give, but it all comes as a feeling. For me, i have to practice thinking so i can FEEL better.
