Does anybody know anybody (or know anybody who knows anybody, etc) who's been involved in any kind of train accident?
What about anybody who works in the "train business"? Anybody happen to know a railroad engineer or a train conductor? Doesn't someone have an accentric uncle who does that kind of thing?

My cousin Charlie is a Regional Rail conductor for SEPTA. About two years ago someone jumped onto the tracks in front of his train. I think she died but I'm not certain. There was an investigation and he was cleared of any fault.

my cousin worked in the septa railyards trying to keep things ticking last i checked. she was primarily working on getting trains built and refitted.
no clue what she knows about accidents though.

my mom's grandfather (mom's dad) worked a railroad station in S. Carolina for a long ass time. Back when there were two waiting rooms, one for whites and one for blacks. He put the little train set in the black section so the kids would have something to look at. I kind of like that story.
