I really wish I had a blender.

A few things have happened that feel like milestones in the settling in process.

Two people asked me for directions, and I was able to give them.

On different occasions, friends have copied my drink order. (And, robean81 bought my same Red Sox hat, hehe.)

So, this feels like home, for now.

This is amazing. I've already got a small, comfortable, happy social network. I love my apartment. It looks like I will get to see most of my favorite people this summer. I like my job, and REALLY like that I'm getting this experience. I'm looking forward to going back to school, but not in that "i wish it was now" way ( Read more... )
