It came out of nowhere, that quick press of lips against his own. One minute they had been sitting in Tetsu's tiny apartment, sharing a late-night meal and chatting about the trials and tribulations of the music world, and the next.... The next, Gackt had leaned across the small table and kissed him. Only the barest moment of contact, but it was enough to bring his train of thought to a complete, screeching halt. He had no idea what he'd just been saying or why, could only think of the odd tingling sensation in his lips. He didn't remember a kiss ever feeling quite like that.
“Tetsu-kun?”
“Wha ... why did you do that?”
“I am sorry, you are right, it was completely inappropriate of me. Watching you speak so passionately, I was seized by a sudden impulse, but it was wrong of me to kiss you without asking for your permission first.”
Tetsu blinked, needing crucial seconds to parse what the other was saying. And when he did....
“Ga-kun, I'm not upset with you, I just....”
Words were useless. Tetsu leaned across the table, closing his eyes as he pressed a kiss to Gackt's mouth. He liked this development. Definitely.
