In his dreams, he flew. Free as the birds whose wings he envies so. Nestled in a birch, hyde sat, preening his lustrous, long feathers.
"Prrrrroooooorrrrrrrpp." A sudden interruption. The call of a fellow avian?
Head cocked to the side, hyde-bird blinked and took off. Two quick flaps and he was there.
"Prrrooooooorrrr."
Googly-eyed, bright yellow... ... it was... tetsu?
Confused, the bird-man flew...
"WhapOW!"
...head first into solid wood.
Rubbing his forehead with hands, not wings, hyde sighed his way back to sleep, hoping to dream up a less bizarre bird next time.
