What is with all that ticking? I couldn't sleep properly.

I keep getting told there's no way out of this place. But surely, there must be an exit, there has to be. If people keep suddenly dumped into this place and there's no exit, then the city would have been overpopulated right now.

Why are we here anyway? I don't see the point.

People apparently come and go by chance, some even come back after leaving, but the exit will already be moved somewhere else.

A point, no idea. You'd have to ask the deities who run this place, and making sense does not seem to be one of their priorities.

It seems that way from what I know. And some people come back without any memory of being in the City beforehand, so they don't remember how they got out in the first place.

They rule this place, cause all the curses. They must get some enjoyment out of it I suppose.
