To appreciate how amazing already it is that a car is even moving through space we have to see things from a new perspective.

We have to see from a place we haven’t before like the bottom of the sidewalk, but look like looking at anything. See the incredible heaviness of 120 breadloafs of steel and all that power of the gasoline motor sending to the sparks and engines all that fire. Up close, you can’t even see except with the use of specialized instruments. Cameras, slow motion film, lasers emitters, Jack-o'-lanterns, carnival tickets to a museum, pizza boxes repurposed as kindling in the steam engine of a prehistoric submarine, angels and aliens consulting from aircraft high above, long before and traveling from the future to the time when you sit peacefully at eye level with a pile of silver leaves, swept along by an earth that is still laughing, mottled conversions of sunlight on tumbled stones in a river that, like God, is still laughing, the ripples an acorn leaves in the water slowly moving into time and out of echos. The whole world hums with a sound not unlike beaches and tide pools.
