Definitely The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher.

That is awesome! He is a great author and I cannot wait to read this whole series and read the other one. I am currently on the 5th book and I cannot stop LOL!

School Rumble. Unfortunately, it's a manga series. :P I usually don't go for anime/manga too much, and I REALLY never buy it, but this one is too adorable.

Also, I'm pretty hooked on the Dexter series. Read the first book before I ever watched the show and I don't like the show much. I just got Dexter in the Dark for Christmas. :)

And I was re-reading Ender's Game [the only Ender series book I have :(] and now I really want to read the others again.

Annnnnd I'm pretty hooked on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. Which is supposed to be for like, 9-12 year olds, but I really like it. :C It's kind of like Watership Down, but with smaller words and cats instead of bunnies.

I tried to read Dexter and I disliked the first book so much that I didn't continue the series.

I actually really liked the way it was written and the ending. :D I can see why you wouldn't have liked it, though. I think my husband tried to read it and much prefers the TV series.
