I have not yet decided which camera I like best, but I have decided that I appreciate the freedom of the digital medium. I have much to learn, but I have time.

Artemis, thank you for your help with the cameras and the information. I still want to see what you achieve when you push yourself.

There are some things you lose with digital medium, but the ability to record and alter things immediately can make up for it. I am glad you have adjustment.

There are things you lose in every transition - from reality to paint on canvas or to photographs or film or digital recordings. Even from reality to memory.

I never think of it like this, but is true.

Your memory adds colors and melodies that are not there. An improved experience, but bittersweet. Nostalgia is like that. You can trim out the things you dislike, leave the good points. So it is with the digital media.

Or you can leave it unvarnished and be able to revisit something like truth without any memory bias.
