So I just sang at a funeral today. Really sad. I got a phone call yesterday asking if I could sing there. I obviously said yes, but oh man. Luckily my mom helped me find an accompynist. That's a good point, plus I guess it's rather difficult to sing when your crying.

hey, if you're trying to be knowledgeable about a certain subject, just take pride in the fact that you know more Wicked lyrics than beth. :)

For a guy that doesn't know many lyrics, I think that's pretty good! And your right, it does sound more powerful when two girls sing instead of two guys, but I've decided not to care. Sweet!

Haven't done that one, but you are now the third person to mention that piece to me within the past like month, I think I'd better find it and hear this wonderful sounding piece!

yeah, just wierd mood I guess. Anyway, I don't think people who become deeply involved in something are shallow at all! I think you're right in that it's a personality thing. Perhaps we just do what makes us happy, and that can't be wrong yes?

Anyway, oh the piano Wedding....well, actually it went fine, but I'm not what you would call an accomplished pianist....so when I got there and they asked me to play set songs, I couldn't except for one that I just played the basic chords. Everything else I just played songs I knew. Also they told me that the bride was coming and to start the Canon in D piece, well I did, but then they said, No NO not yet, so I just kinda made up chords as I went along to fill space but have it not be that song. ANYWAY, I guess it just kinda freaked me out. But yeah.
ok, nuff said I think.
