Saw Troy tonight. I wasn't impressed, not even by tasty sweaty Brad Pitt. I did like the guy who played Hector, a lot. And the fact that they used unknown actresses for Helen and Hector's wife (who was amazingly beautiful). But really, no plot development, combining characters,

Van Helsing was good, at least I thought so. I didn't like the way the vampires were done but Frankenstein's monster, Mr Hyde, and the werewolves were cool. I liked Dracula. The cast was cool too.

You will likely enjoy van helsing, I saw it last week....lots of vampires, verrry nice effects...but it starts dragging after about an hour, and the ending has this moment that's corny as all hell...I won't ruin it for you. It made me laugh. And Troy? The dialogue was definitely sloppy...god, Orlando Bloom always has those one sentence lines that are so poorly written...in every movie he's in! I did like the crazy-religious king of troy though, w00t.

The safeway boy you speak of sounds very hot. Please tell me you followed him through the aisles! Supermarket stalking is so in.

I totally wish I had, but I passed him when I was on my way in and he was on my way out. We shared a long glance so that I could be fully overcome by the power of those blue eyes...and then he pushed his shopping cart right out of my life *sniff*
